Responsibilities for this Position:

General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) has an immediate opening for an Advanced Integrated Cost and Schedule Specialist to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to enhance the performance and profitability of an organization that supports some of our nations fundamental defense services. GDAIS employees work closely with esteemed clients to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions. The selected candidate will analyze cost/schedule performance and resource data management for GDAIS. Key Responsibilities
Advanced Integrated Cost and Schedule Specialists coordinate the development of baseline budgets including detailed WBS and WBS dictionary, earned value methods assignment and the verification of contract budget baseline. These employees are responsible for maintaining the integrity of performance measurement baseline and the monthly and comprehensive EAC. On a weekly and monthly basis, Advanced Integrated Cost and Schedule Specialists analyze cost and schedule performance and resource data management. In addition, these employees assess cost and schedule variance impacts, provide corrective action recommendations and track corrective action plans. The individual who fills this role will perform Management Reserve analysis, evaluate EVM training needs and conduct EVM training. Team members also use schedules and schedule risk analysis to assist in analysis, EAC integrity and impact assessments.

Basic Qualifications:

Advanced Integrated Cost and Schedule Specialists must have a bachelors degree in a related specialized area or the equivalent, and five to eight years of related experience. Applicants with a masters degree and three to five years of related experience also qualify.

Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
