Job Responsibilities:
  • Analyzes, organizes, plans and administers various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares or maintenance/repair activities for one or more programs of moderate scope
  • Analyzes contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements
  • Develops logistics plans in order to enhance distribution of goods and supplies
  • Identifies, prioritizes, and assesses key logistics assets and infrastructures
  • Assists in the development of policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure quality and cost control
  • Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times
  • Evaluates and coordinates all logistical IT functions in order to reach a single logistical unit goal:
    • Tracking and managing the product life cycle of all IT products as they move through the logistical units
    • Tracking and managing product acquisition
    • Distribution
    • Inventory management
    • Production
    • Final delivery of an end product to an end user
  • Achieving operational alignment with strategic partners in the supply chain toward creating the single integrated logistical unit
  • Physical handling of goods to include the timely and accurate distribution of goods in order to avoid damage to goods while meeting the organization’s mission
  • Ensure correct goods are ordered, shipped and deployed to users
  • Provide for the timely, steady flow of goods to ensure satisfactory distribution time, reliability, flexibility and quality
  • Ensure customer receives the correct product and quantity which are delivered to the correct location
  • Research costs to ensure costs are competitive
  • Inventory tracking of available goods to ensure the organization has ample supply on hand from which to draw to meet the demands of the individuals
  • Responsible for preparation of all documentation for contractual procurements:
    • Contract Preparation: Prepare all IT and support services contracts while adhering to the GFEBS guidelines and requirements. Maintain rapport with ACCNCR contracting officials; attain all necessary approvals for contractual documents; track status of open contracts; communicate contract status with requestors.
    • Credit Card Purchase Preparations: Responsible for preparing all documentation, quotes and approval forms for credit card purchases; interact with Property Book personnel to facilitate credit card purchases; track receipt of orders; track status of offers/ notify users of order status
    • Acquisition Plan: Develop, distribute, and deploy Acquisition Plan to eliminate single point of failure
  • Deliverables
    • Monthly contractual reports – list of open contracts value of contracts
    • Monthly credit card reports – list of all open credit card request to include new, signed, ordered and received goods
    • Provide monthly inventory status reports to indicate available IT inventory for deployment
