Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
The Integrated Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for spearheading the development and execution of campaigns, programs and content assets supporting the Retail and Healthcare vertical markets in North America. Working collaboratively with the NA enterprise vertical marketing team, this position will identify and prioritize campaigns to drive thought leadership, demand generation and sales enablement to our key audiences. Specifically, this position will:
• Spearhead the development of integrated marketing communication strategies, including audience segmentation, communication modality and media mix recommendations
• Lead the creation of compelling marketing content and assets to convey the value of our solutions to targeted audiences
• Develop and execute customer contact strategies to distribute these content assets with the objective of improving brand awareness, driving demand and influencing purchase decisions
• Collaborate with cross functional marketing teams to ensure our sales team and channel partners are aware and utilizing available sales enablement tools
• Partner with pipeline management to ensure leads and opportunities are being routed for qualification and follow-up
• Leverage marketing data and analytics to make informed business decisions and content/communication refinements
• Utilize integrated marketing communication best practices and identify new communication modalities to drive innovation
Specific Knowledge/Skills
• 8+ years experience developing integrated marketing communication strategies and campaigns in a B2B technology environment
• Knowledge of the Retail and Healthcare vertical markets
• Experience developing customer contact strategies and programs to optimize value through a managed cadence of messaging
• Understanding of marketing automation systems
• Experience leveraging social media and digital marketing initiatives as a part of a broader integrated campaign
• Ability to understand marketing data and analysis and develop program recommendations from these insights
• Demonstrated project management skills and proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Understanding of solution-selling approach into targeted vertical markets
• Familiarity working in a direct and channel partner sales environment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong cross-functional team leadership experience
• Strong agency and freelance contractor management experience
• Proactive approach to problem identification and resolution
• BA in marketing, communications or related field
• Ability to travel up to 10-20%
