SCOPE OF POSITION:
This position is responsible to assist brand management and sales teams in the development, implementation and productivity of all retail marketing/trade support programs for Pinnacle Foods.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Determine business needs, develop business/marketing plans and manage marketing budget in the execution of those programs. 
Work with internal functions and lead cross-functional teams. 
Participate in the development and communication of presentations to sales and trade partners; i.e. key account presentations. 
Develop sales & marketing support materials and communicate to sales and partner agencies. 
Monitor, track and effectively communicate monthly sales and marketplace conditions. 
Analyze effectiveness of different marketing, advertising & promotional programs in support of brand program development. 
Conduct and analyze market research studies taking appropriate actions as indicated by the findings. 
Assess market dynamics (consumer trends, retail trends, competitive actions) and the implications on marketing plans moving forward by analyzing quantitative and qualitative market research, IRI data, sales data, shipment data, and registration card data. 
Work with Marketing Research and Business Development to develop market intelligence and consumer insights utilizing that information to provide market research objectives and develop consumer marketing test opportunities. 
Develop and execute innovative marketing test programs to drive the business. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficient at conducting in-depth store level analyses to break down category, segment and brand level details to answer specific business questions. 
Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts. 
20-25% Travel

EDUCATION: 
Bachelors Degree, MBA is a plus but not required.

EXPERIENCE: 
Professional experience within packaging/consumer products industry preferred. 
3-4 years prior sales/marketing experience, preferably with two years in consumer products.

SKILLS/PROFICIENCIES: 
Demonstrated bias for action and proficiency in project management skills, data analysis, and budget management. 
Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines. 
Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing and analytical skills 
Knowledge of negotiating and strong influencing skills. 
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel. 
Organized, reliable and resourceful professional with practical experience and understanding of sales processes. 
Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast paced and dynamic environment. 
Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize under pressure and within tight budget constraints 
Comfortable interacting with all levels of management, including senior leadership. 
Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
