WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
In your role as an Integrated Promotions Manager at Kellogg Company, you will be part of our success by:
Developing the organizational thinking required to translate Integrated Promotions strategy into execution events that drive brand equity, incorporate partner equity and drive sales and customer support of targeted brands, or a portfolio of brands
Driving cross-functional alignment and integrate other functions and other Business Unit’s into Integrated Promotions activation
Understanding and effectively utilizing learning from Needscope, and K Way Marketing tools- including Kellogg Masterbrand and brand specific Equity Wheels to enable development of consumer-centric Integrated Promotions activation
Utilizing the briefing process (Activation Brief, Creative Brief, and/or Experience Plan) as key elements of planning process
Managing budgets and understanding and effectively communicating financial timing implications and risk and opportunities for assigned projects
Attaining cross-functional alignment, including agreement on next steps and critical path milestones, inclusive of feedback from stakeholder groups: brand marketing, innovation, insights & planning (research), sales strategy and agency partners to effectively develop winning Integrated Promotions plans and effective in market execution
Fully participate in the three-stage planning process (strategies, plans and tactics) to deliver the activation plan contributing toward growth goals for our equities, aligned to Business Unit and Kellogg strategic objectives. Formally present as part of planning process to senior leadership
Managing the creative development process for Integrated Promotions programs, including providing timely and insightful feedback on creative presentations and next steps for agency teams
Managing the contract development process with external partners from initial negotiation through execution
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Marketing, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Experience in creating marketing, sales or communication strategy
Experience in media management across platforms and from vendors and agency partners
Experience managing creative agencies
Experience managing conflicting agendas and drive for objective, fact based resolution
Ability to influence and collaborate with senior marketing and executive level leaders both formally and informally
MBA or Master’s degree in marketing, business management, or related field
Frequent experience demonstrating above skills
Experience in different brand portfolios
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?
