Develop and maintain user documentation for assigned HMS modules for the appropriate release level.
Maintain document standards.
Transfer graphical screens using screen capture tool (SnagIT or FullShot) to MS Word files.
Edit converted MS Word documents.
Learn the assigned HMS modules in order to document accurately.
Ability to understand HL7 interfaces and to produce technical specification documents.
Ability to produce end user documentation based on information gathered from peers, technical specifications, and actual system use.
Establish working relationship with key personnel such as Product Owners, Developers, and Quality Assurance Analysts.
Help edit Release Enhancements and add enhancements from completed documentation.
Develop and test online help.
Required Education and Training
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.
System i experience a plus.
Healthcare experience a plus.
Agile/Scrum team working experience a plus.
Must be very proficient in MS Word.
Must be very proficient in RoboHelp.
Must be able to quickly understand technically complex projects.
Strong research skills.
Good interpersonal skills that include the ability to effectively communicate in both writing and verbally.
Excellent written, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
Must be detail oriented, organized, and have the ability to multi-task.
Must be adaptable to changes.
Ability to demonstrate supportive relationships with peers, clients, partners, and corporate executives.
Must be flexible with a “can do” attitude and have the ability to remain professional under high pressure situations.
Ability to retain and protect confidential material.
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Negative pre-employment drug tests.
