Integrity Management Engineer - Houston, Texas

RPS Knowledge Reservoir is seeking an IME for a long term contract in Houston, Texas.

The Integrity Management Engineer (IME) will work collaboratively across multiple levels of a projects organization with focus on Integrity Management (IM) standard. The IME will be responsible for ensuring the technical assurance processes, systems, and implementation plans are in place to manage both the technical and mechanical integrity of various components for design and construction of a major offshore subsea project.

Key Accountabilities:

- Provide leadership, guidance and coaching to ensure Project IM programs are fully implemented, continuously improved and where required, executed in compliance with IM requirements
- Provide leadership, guidance and coaching to ensure Project Integrity Management assurance
- Development of Project IM action plans for technical gap analysis (identifying where we are not in compliance with IM requirements)
- Peer assists, audits, process hazards analysis or opportunity reviews either as a team leader or participant
- Implementation of the Project IM action plan, ensuring timely closeout of actions to meet compliance and track and communicate the Subsea program of project’s progress
- Provide input into identifying Project IM key performance indicators
- Support the progress of the IM action plan for the SS Program on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Manage the development of risk-based inspection programs for each equipment class from the wellhead to the boarding valve of the platform and managing the interfaces
- Promote multi-disciplinary team interactions and assist with IM program needs in areas of corrosion, cathodic protection, chemical injection, risk based inspection, reliability, failure analysis and inspection techniques
- Interface with Project Operation Manager for the development of the Operations Integrity Management Plan

Essential Criteria & Qualifications:

- Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer
- Must not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., TN, H1B status)
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline such as materials, corrosion, mechanical or chemical engineering
- Experience in integrity management, including projects and process safety experience
- Experience in leadership of Integrity Management programs and demonstrated ability to track issues to closure a plus
- Coaching skills
- Good interpersonal, communication, and networking skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player

Desired criteria & qualifications:

- Experience in the E&P business
- Work toward professional Engineering Certification
- Knowledge of risk management methodology desirable
- Experience with subsea inspection techniques
- Knowledge of reliability and maintenance processes in the E&P industry
