BAE Systems is seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team of professionals as a Counter IED Intelligence Analyst. This position requires possible domestic and international travel and may require shift work. We are looking for a SME to conduct comprehensive research on complex insurgent and terrorist networks; either independently or as part of a larger analytical effort. Analyst will develop analytical strategies, produce related assessments and target support packages in collaboration with analysts involved in the counter insurgency/counter IED mission.

The individual shall leverage experience, expertise, and ongoing activities to provide short turn around analytical support of concepts, insights, and findings.
• Perform open-source, on-line/library research as needed.
• Identifies additional critical tasks and perform them as needed and required.
• Providing a full range of support for quick-reaction responses to operational, technical, and programmatic taskings. Other duties include coordinating with action officers in the planning, preparation, coordination and dissemination phases of scheduled targeting and intelligence survey packages. In addition, the analyst will also provide expert all-source research, analysis and intelligence analytical products. Required Skills:
Candidates preferably have BS/BA degrees, should have 5 to10 years of experience developing all-source intelligence assessments and prior experience supporting the targeting process, preferably 2 years of of experience related to IED insurgency. Have working knowledge of the national, operational and tactical intelligence infrastructure available to DoD. Experience in the intelligence field at the tactical or strategic operational level. Have proficiency with the use of computer tools common to the intelligence community such as: Pathfinder, M3, Analyst Notebook, Palantir and others. Must have excellent communications and interpersonal skills. Possess strong critical thinking and analytical skills. Must have the ability to work independently with excellent problem solving skills. Possess a high level of organization, attention to detail and follow-through.

Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance.
