The Intelligence Analyst will:
Prepare and deliver the daily intelligence update for the JIEDDO-COIC Director.

Provide intelligence support as required to all working groups and analytical teams that support JIEDDO-COIC.

Maintain current awareness of weapons technology intelligence for IEDs and TTPs used by the human enemy networks that employ IEDs.

Produce strategic intelligence and fusion products that conform to organizational, community, intelligence oversight, and regulatory requirements that assess facts, threat intents, cultural behavioral norms, implications of the environment, and friendly as well as adversarial involvement in that environment that integrate existing national level products and databases to provide an enhanced level of information support and that accurately identify adversarial intent, capabilities, vulnerabilities, and potential threat courses of action.

Identify C-IED capability gaps and provide recommendations on potential solutions.

Conduct C-IED studies as may be identified by JIEDDO and COIC leadership to identify current and future issues and to provide alternatives for issue resolution.

Deliver and coordinate technical reports that respond to Requests for Support or the JIEDDO-COIC analytical teams.

Experience and Education:
Successful applicants will have documented experience working with multidiscipline operations/intelligence teams and familiarity with other elements of the DoD, the interagency and coalition partners.

The Intelligence Analyst must have a strong operational background and experience in shaping intelligence products that support national and strategic goals set forth by the national leadership in order to inform strategic decision making. The Intelligence Analyst should also possess an understanding of IEDs and the local, regional, and global networks that facilitate their construction, design, and usage.

Required:
This position requires the ability to obtain and hold a TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility. (Resume must show that proposed employee currently holds a TS clearance with previous access to SCI level of information.)

Associates Degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 15 years of relevant intelligence experience. This experience should demonstrate the ability to meet the duties described above and to develop intelligence products based upon command guidance, mission analysis, an operational perspective, and/or thorough threat analysis.

OR

Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5 years of relevant intelligence experience. This experience should demonstrate the ability to meet the duties described above and to develop intelligence products based upon command guidance, mission analysis, an operational perspective, and/or thorough threat analysis.

Other Requirements:
This position may require recurring domestic and international travel to include conducting short deployments (15 days or less) to combat zones.

The applicant may be called upon to support 24-hour watch operations.

Highly Desired:
Post 9/11 experience conducting deployed intelligence analysis.

Recent in-theater experience.

The Intelligence Analyst should have the ability to perform tasks and provide analysis to support the client in the uses and capabilities of the following web-based intelligence tools, software, and databases: M3, Palantir, TAC, NCTC Online, TIDE, ICReach, Cultweave, PROTON, Skope Toolset, ArcGIS, Google Earth, and Microsoft productivity software and applications as needed.

Documented experience and/or training in the Weapons Technical Intelligence field.

Documented experience at the Joint Staff or COCOM J2 staff level producing strategic level intelligence products for national leaders.

Qualifications Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and ten to twelve years of related experience. Degrees Equivalent Experience/Education
