Assembles, collates, analyzes, and interprets raw intelligence and investigative data from a multitude of internal and external sources, assessing the data for significance, validity and reliability. This intelligence is gathered from diverse law enforcement agencies and the intelligence community encompassing domestic and international activities associated with the illegal drug trade, including cultivation, production, money laundering, financial networking and trafficking of illegal drugs. NDIC’s Document and Media Exploitation(DOMEX) methodology involves the extraction and linking of data from a body of evidence to create a relational database of information. A DOMEX Intelligence Analyst(IA) examines all source material seized and enters information derived from the material into a specialized database relating all data entries back to the material where the data was found. Subsequently, a DOMEX Analyst analyzes the information in the specialized database, makes findings, and generates leads for law enforcement personnel to prosecute. The DOMEX IA may also develop other supporting analytical products such as link analysis charts, timelines, etc. and may also be required to provide briefings and draft reports. Additionally, the DOMEX IA may support contract management duties such as quarterly reports and progress reviews. Qualifications
