Responsibilities for this Position:

General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) has an immediate opening for a Senior Advanced Intelligence and Operations Analysis Specialist to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to develop the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nations fundamental defense services. GDAIS employees work closely with esteemed clients to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to analyze information and intelligence relevant to threats facing the systems, infrastructure, and resources critical to the nation. Key Responsibilities

A minimum of eight continuous years of work experience in computer network operations or a related field or a combination of degree and five years of related experience. Shall have demonstrated expertise regarding Computer Network Operations (CNO) with the NTOC, other CNO partners and the customer. Shall have demonstrated expertise with relevant CNO tools and databases used for the customer mission. Shall be considered a SME in conducting planning activities and preparing associated documentation. Depending on the task, individual must be either a SME in exercises support, CNO, strategic planning, performance management, or process development and to be able to serve as a working groups and meetings with partner organization/agencies.

Shall have demonstrated expertise in analyzing intelligence and/or related information and technical data, describing CNO opportunities, documenting information and processes, gathering information, interpreting complex information, performing Internet research, writing and editing skills at a technical/professional level, and managing internal and external customer relations. The shall be an effective writer and verbal communicator.

Additional Responsibilities

Implements appropriate countermeasures/mitigation rule sets for signature and behavior based anomalies in an effort to gauge and define suspicious activity. Researches and develops mitigation strategies for latest reconnaissance, scanning and access techniques. Consolidates findings and creates formal reporting for appropriate audience.

  • Support and engage in programs, projects and practices behind the GDAIS culture and strategy, and comply with all policies and procedures.
  • Follow industry and department trends and developments to ensure GDAISs services are consistent with, and/or superior to, industry best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

Candidates must show a sophisticated understanding of statistical analysis and complex intelligence policies and procedures, and must demonstrate the capacity to successfully support GDAIS intelligence operations.

The Senior Advanced Intelligence and Operations Analysis Specialist position requires a bachelors degree in a related specialized area or the equivalent, and eight to ten years of related experience; or a masters degree and six to eight years of related experience.

Department of Defense TS/SCI with poly security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
