Lincoln Financial Group is currently seeking an experienced Interactive Designer for the Digital Business Group in the Radnor, PA location.
We have an excellent opportunity for an Interaction Designer reporting to the Director of User Experience that will play a key role in designing superb user-friendly experiences based on user needs for the company's internet, extranets and intranets for different mediums, including websites, tablet and mobile. The Interaction Designer will collaborate with strategists, web designers, visual designers and editors to create an effective, user-centered online experience. While working closely with Lincoln Financials marketing leaders you will interface across all business units servicing multiple in-house clients.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a user advocate on all projects Develop a deep and detailed knowledge of Lincoln Financial Group' s products and their users Distill insights from user research into actionable behaviors and needs Analyze user behavior metrics to inform design Document user flows and use cases Analyze competitive site design Structure of pages, content and information architecture Collaborate with digital strategist on overall strategy Assist Project Manager in identifying activities and tools Estimate effort, duration, resource capacity and total cost for interaction design and wireframing Participate in dependency mapping and milestone identification for User Experience (UX) Manage wireframe creation, approval process and resources Collaborate with Business Analyst (BA) to embed insights and wireframes within the Business Requirement Document (BRD) Ensure visual standards are met during application development implementation - escalate when needed Conduct UX testing in the Quality Assurance (QA) process Manage the production of the prototype/sales demos Job Requirements Requirements:
Bachelor degree or equivalent professional experience Master degree in Design or related a plus At least five years of experience as a user experience manager, interaction designer, information architect or similar role. Direct experience with e-commerce, finance is an attractive plus Solid background preferably in UI design and/or human-computer interaction, UI design processes and methodology as applied to websites, tablets and/or mobile Relentless customer focus and passion for an iterative user-centered design and the creative process Well versed in information architecture, user-centered design best practices and web technologies Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong project leadership, communication, and people management skills. Must be able to function as a project leader as well as an individual contributor, driving towards deadlines Experience with usability research/testing for websites or web-based applications a plus Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks, Axure, Visio, and OmniGraffle Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, Flash, and CSS Additional Details Location:
