General Summary:


Design and document innovative digital and physical user-centric interfaces for portable ultrasound systems and supporting ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop user interaction architecture and visual design. Design and document software wireframes, workflows and visual assets.
• Analyze and translate user centered research into personas and user/product requirements.
• Perform verification and validation testing to agency standards.
• Responsible and accountable for carrying out the requirements of the companies quality system.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in UI Design.
• 3+ year’s relevant industry experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with design of medical devices.
• Experience working in a design driven culture
• FDA or other regulated industry training and experience.
• Proven ability applying user-centered design and usability principles to product research, development, and design. Work in partnership with other disciplines; ethnography, industrial design, software, hardware, marketing, clinical and regulatory.
• Proven ability leading user interface/physical interaction design projects with minimal direction.
• Familiarity with Design Thinking methodologies.
• Graphic design training or skills
• Versed in common graphic design software and rapid prototyping software
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to lift 25lbs with or without accommodations
