We are currently seeking Interactive Courseware (ICW) Specialists to provide training support to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific (SSC PAC).

Interactive Courseware (ICW) Specialist’s primary duties and responsibilities are:
Provide training support to Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific (SSC PAC), Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWARSYSCOM), Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), and Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in support of Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) systems and products integrated on their platforms.
Utilize off-the-shelf software, authoring, animation, simulation and/or modeling programs, develop interactive courseware (ICW) and computer aided instructional (CAI) materials.
In developing the training materials, extract materials from previously developed training systems, utilize other authoring tools, for incorporation into the current training system.
Perform complex linking of authoring tools to other applications.
The Interactive Courseware (ICW) Specialist must:
Be a U.S. citizen.
Possess a degree or certification in online distance learning, eLearning, educational technologies, computer science or information systems fields.
Possess a minimum of 10 years’ of experience with at least 8 years of specialized experience in the design and development of Computer Based Training products including Interactive Courseware development.
Possess demonstrated knowledge of DoD Installations, Logistics and Environment (ILE) processes/procedures and Shared Courseware Object Reference Model (SCORM) requirements.
Be able to work with the courseware production team to design, develop, revise and validate interactive computer based courseware.
Be able to utilize specialized computer software and/or hardware to develop, integrate and edit instructional text, audio, graphics, animation and video for interactive presentations.
Be able to use appropriate programming/branching logic and screen layout and remediation/feedback techniques.
Be able to implement quality control and review and revision procedures throughout the courseware development process.
Possess or be able to obtain a security clearance, if required, up to Top Secret (TS)/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
Possess or be able to obtain if required a Cyberspace Work Force (CSWF) Certification: Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level 2 Certification.
Travel will be required.
