Provide project management for interface projects, integration efforts with client electronic medical systems and practice management systems. Assist with managing the expectations of client operations and sales regarding integration efforts.
Manage project activities among client, EMR vendor and other departments to insure successful completion of integration efforts by helping to define deadlines and communicating any changes to all affected parties.
Partner with the sales team on client visits to assist sales in technical communication efforts between sales and potential customers and serve as continuing liaison between IT, sales, vendors and existing customer base.
Report on project status and prepare and deliver client presentations related to interface implementation issues.
Identify patterns of problems and recommend solutions to management.
Assist with developing operating procedures for the Interface group.
Cross train in other areas to develop a greater understanding of the front-end process.
B.S. or B.A. or equivalent experience required.
Three to five years of prior job-related experience is required.
Deep knowledge of HL7 interfaces
An understanding of connectivity models including TCP/IP, FTP, SFTP
Ability to develop solutions for non-standard implementations
Proven ability to manage implementations
Computer proficiency using MS Outlook, Word, and Excel required.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills are required.
Experience in electronic medical record products desired.
Strong presentation, communication, organization, customer service and time management skills and a focus on quality.
