Intermediate QA Manual Tester for Web Applications

The QA Analyst provides technical and functional expertise to perform quality assurance tasks, including the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and user requirements, and for progress in accordance with schedules. The QA Analyst coordinates with the QA Manager, Project Managers, Product Managers and technical developers to ensure solutions and user satisfaction. The incumbent will make recommendations for changes to work products and processes as necessary, and must be able to work on multiple projects at once.

What will you be responsible for?
  • Designing and implementing test plans for testing ASP.NET web applications;
  • Preparing test cases and controlling quality for application components;
  • Documenting, troubleshooting and isolating problems encountered during testing; and
  • Participating in SDLC improvements sessions and quality measures reviews while assisting with QA process enhancements based on industry standards and practices. ‘
Must haves
    ’: Diploma or University Degree (Bachelor Degree in Computer Science preferred) 3+ years testing .NET web based applications High level understanding and exposure to web application architecture Expert level experience using manual testing procedures and methodologies Intermediate level experience using automated testing procedures and methodologies Knowledge of software testing strategies and methodologies Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail 2+ years’ experience testing with Selenium a bonus Excellent written and verbal communication skills
