The intern will support project work under the direction of the refinery's Mechanical Engineer. The intern will gain practical, hands-on experience and training that will provide an opportunity for growth, learning and development within the Refinery and Petroleum industry.
Key projects may include:
Work with mechanical engineer and operators to develop job aids for critical rotating equipment trains.
Evaluate spare parts Bill of Materials for critical rotating equipment trains. Develop a gap closure plan.
Evaluate adequacy of existing lubrication database. Develop gap closure plan and implement changes.
Evaluate existing schematics of critical rotating equipment trains on PI Process Book. Updates schematics as appropriate.
Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program majoring in mechanical engineering. No work experience necessary.
3.0 minimum GPA preferred
