Our MBA Intern will have the opportunity to apply what they've learned in course work at both the project and corporate levels while being exposed to the many services provided by the Clark Companies. Working directly with the Executive Committee, the intern will support research projects and special initiatives. Projects may include market and financial evaluations, analyses of evolving industries and vertical integration opportunities, developing strategies for establishing and maintaining partnerships with clients and vendor partners, and investigating new lines of business.
o Currently pursuing an MBA degree with an undergraduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or a related discipline preferred.
o 2+ years work experience in addition to degree highly preferred.
o Capacity to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
o Knowledge of real estate, public finance and/or project finance.
o Strong financial analysis knowledge and experience.
o Interest in real estate development and construction activities for a range of asset classes.
o Strong communication (written and verbal), organization, research and analytical skills (including an attention to detail).
o Desire to explore new frontiers of turnkey real estate project development and finance.
o Entrepreneurial ability to roll-up sleeves.
o Open, team-oriented yet self-starting work style.
o Interest in helping to develop new relationships and lines of business through networking.
o Extensive financial modeling and Microsoft Excel experience.
