Eight person design firm seeks responsible self-motivated intern architect with one to three years professional experience for full time assignment to residential projects in the city and surrounding area.

Responsibilities primarily include assisting the firm’s partners and project architects in all aspects of project design, construction documentation and site work for specified projects. Applicants should demonstrate the sensitivity to thorough coordination and technical detailing that is commensurate with luxury residential projects. Manual drawing skills are essential and Micro-Station or AutoCAD experience is necessary. Successful involvement in assisting a team leader will result in subsequent assignments on a more independent basis.

Cicognani Kalla Architect was founded in 1985 and specializes in single-family residential projects, museum and art gallery work, office headquarters and restaurant projects, all of a high level of detail. The office won a competition for the Heinz Architectural Center that was completed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1993. Current projects are located in Manhattan, the East Coast of the United States, and Israel. Projects have been extensively published in magazines, books and newspapers.
