This internship will provide students with real world experience in Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), to advance their professional knowledge and experience. By collaborating on special projects and assignments within Carnival Corporation Financial Planning & Analysis department, the intern will gain strong professional finance experience.
Assist in the gathering of financial and booking performance data from all of the various Carnival Corporation & plc brands to be used in reports to various audiences including the Company’s senior executives.
Research industry capacity data to be used to update the department’s capacity database.
Support the management group in FP&A with various adhoc financial analysis Evaluation of Forecasts to recommend Public Earnings Guidance
Assist in the preparation of a variety of analyses for the COO, CFO and VP, Investor Relations
Assist in gathering data and preparing various analysis used to prepare the Board of Director Business Report
Assist in the creation of CFO’s Presentations Requirements:Preferred Qualifications:
Superior skills with analytical software, especially Microsoft Excel required
Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, Actuarial studies or related field of study.
Some experience in a financial role preferred
A good understanding of some basic accounting principles and issues is preferred
Student should be available 20-30 hours per week. Schedule is flexible upon student’s availability.
Duration of paid internship is six months.
