Parson Brinckerhoff’s Columbus office is seeking a Transportation Engineering Intern to assist engineering and technical staff in day-to-day project duties on a variety of ongoing projects. Specifically, this candidate will be assisting with plan development, quantity estimates, construction cost estimates, drainage details, and roadway design. The candidate must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and have analytical reasoning abilities. Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.

Job Requirements

Experience Required:

This position will require technical and communication competencies. The ideal candidate will have completed coursework in transportation design. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CADD software, preferably Microstation. Experience working with roadway plans is also preferred.

Education Required:

The successful candidate should be enrolled in a BS degree program in Civil Engineering, with a minimum of three years of undergraduate coursework. Hands-on experience with software such as Microstation, Microsoft Office, and other related software is preferred. Candidate must be able to work in the United States. Local candidates preferre
