PB’s Wichita Office is looking for a summer intern who is pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering and who is enthusiastic and motivated in beginning their career in engineering. You will be working with a group of highly qualified structural engineers and CAD technicians to provide structural designs, calculations and plans for bridges, retaining walls, and miscellaneous structures for transportation projects.
The exciting and high profile projects that you will be a part of in the Wichita Office are listed below.
- US-54 East Kellogg Highway Project
- I-70 Downtown Topeka Viaduct
- I-235 Bridges over the Arkansas River
The preliminary and final engineering plans will be developed with Microstation. The structural designs and calculations will be developed using software such as Leap Software, RC-Pier, LARSA 4D, MS Excel, MathCAD and etc. You will be working in a strong team environment, which will keep your career begin on the right path and provide you with various professional opportunities.
Position Requirement (including experience and education):
- Junior or Senior in the field of Civil Engineering.
- Knowledge of CADD software such as Microstation,
- Good communication skills are required.
- Ability to work in this country immediately is required.
