Description/Job Summary This is an intern position for the Spring of 2013. It will focus on the credit operations in the Lubbock Agribusiness Office and will gain a broad exposure to all aspects of credit delivery, credit analysis, marketing activities, risk management activities,
loan servicing and administrative functions. This job will begin approximately January 1 and will conclude approximately May 31, although it may be extended at the sole discretion of the Association.

The intern will be responsible for locating within a reasonable commuting distance of the credit office and responsible for living expenses throughout the the term of the internship.

A part time schedule of approximately 20 hours per week is expected in a manner that allows for efficient operation of the position with department workflow and requirements. This job does not qualify for participation in Association Benefit Programs. If

Responsibilities/Duties Incumbent will learn by assisting in all phases of agribusiness credit delivery and portfolio management. Will work closely with other staff members in all aspects of agribusiness credit operations and assist in credit support work and account administration.
Will have an opportunity to be mentored by professionals with years of experience in agribusiness credit.
Required Skills Incumbent should have strong computer skills and an understanding of Microsoft Office Products and other computer applications. Candidate must have good academic standing in required field of study at an accredited university.
Required Experience Previous work experience in financial industry is helpful but not required.
Required Education High School Diploma and enrollment at an accredited university in at least a Bachelor's

Degree Program. Student should be of good academic standing and enrolled as a Junior, Senior or graduate student in a major field of study related to finance, accounting, business administration, agribusiness, ag economics or a similar field of study
