Global Growth & Operations - Finance (GGO-Finance) is a leading Finance, Employee and Administration shared service provider for GE businesses. GGO-Finance has centers across various countries in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas.
Our service offering includes Accounts Payable, Payroll, Travel Expense processing, and Legal entity compliance services to enable GE business to operate efficiently while maintaining the highest levels of Controllership and Compliance with GE company policies and local country requirements.
Interns are hired in all areas of the organization depending on their skill sets and interests and typically commit to a 1 year assignment, all internships are paid. Interns will have opportunities to learn about GE’s business structure and key operating principles along with finance, operations and productivity management. Interns are all evaluated on a quarterly basis and are provided feedback on their performance to help them grow throughout their internship experience. These are great opportunities to prepare for future full time career opportunities.
Applicants should have an interest in learning about an operations-based organization. All assignments
will allow interns to develop core competencies needed to succeed in a business environment. Depending on the operational area to which you may be assigned, the following are general areas of responsibilities / functions that may be associated with a given internship:
Preparation of monthly account reconciliations
Weekly account reconciliation reporting
Preparation of monthly financial reporting
Update process documentation for all areas of Finance
Special projects as needed
Support / Lead quality projects
Enrolled and attending college classes with a GPA 3.1 or greater
Must be able to work a minimum of 28 hours per week
MUST be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

MUST be willing to work out of the Ft. Myers, FL office.
