Job Description
IPA DC is looking for an intern to join the policy and project development teams. The intern will work closely with both teams and report to the associate of project development. The intern will assist in the production of written materials for external communications, such as drafting evaluation summaries for the website and reformatting/redesigning and updating existing outreach materials for partners and donors. The intern will also assist with tracking new partners and project development.
The internship requires a commitment of 10-15 hours a week, for at least 10 weeks, with most of the time of the intern spent at the IPA DC office.
Duties include:
Drafting evaluation summary content for the website
Organizing updates of internal tracking systems with input from field staff
Reformatting and updating existing thematic and country notes for partnership and donor outreach
Updating and reformatting the partnership directory to add new fields and information
Assisting in other policy and partnership development tasks as necessary
Requirements:
Excellent writing skills and attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner and to self-manage
Some graphic design experience or good visual presentation skills are helpful
Familiarity with SalesForce, Sharepoint, or InDesign are a plus
