Reporting to Talent Acquisition Leader and Director of Talent Management, EMEA
Works with Talent Acquisition Leader, Business Unit /Community Managing Directors, and Directors of Talent Management (DTM) to establish recruiting requirements through discussions to identify needed skills and background requirements
Becomes the go to expert for candidate sourcing / headhunting in Europe
Identifies and suggests appropriate proactive candidate sourcing strategies for reaching the right caliber of candidates
Works with Directors of Talent Management to draft, review, and/or edit job descriptions
Participates in team meetings, both EMEA and Talent Acquisition, to understand recruiting needs and provide updates on results
Keeps updated Candidate Sourcing Reports & Applicant Tracking System up to date with candidates and status
Keeps the Talent Acquisition Leader, appropriate BU/Community leaders and Director of Talent Management updated with the ongoing status reports of all candidate sourcing / headhunting
Executes candidate sourcing and head hunting including, but not limited to: candidate research / mapping, direct sourcing, industry networking, advertising, active internet searches through data mining / Boolean Searches and social network sites, employee referrals, and outreach to appropriate trade and industry organizations
Attends conferences, networking events and other recruiting events as necessary
Sources, reviews, screens and conducts initial interview of potential candidates to ensure caliber and fit with AlixPartners and specific BU/Community and sends to appropriate Talent Management team member and appropriate Managing Director / Hiring Manager for review
Works with Recruiting teams to ensure momentum and success of candidates through our recruiting process
Works directly with Talent Acquisition Leader and EMEA Director of Talent Management to ensure that recruitment goals are met
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
Education - Bachelor degree required
Knowledge and Experience
Manager - 7-10 years of related direct candidate sourcing / recruiting experience
Director – 10-15 years of related direct candidate sourcing / recruiting experience
A combination of search firm and high end consulting firm candidate sourcing / recruiting experience
Comes with a large network of relevant contacts to leverage immediately for candidate sourcing / headhunting
Experience working with and recruiting top senior level management consultants
Multi-lingual – English mandatory, with German fluency preferred, other languages are a plus
Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills; both verbally and in writing to effectively sell and communicate AlixPartners culture and brand to the most senior level talent in the market
Ability to analyze resumes and profiles to determine appropriate matches for specific roles within the firm
Ability to target and source potential candidates for searches
Detail-oriented, with demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
