Job Description
Northrop Grumman’s Internal Audit department is seeking an Internal Auditor. The Internal Auditor will report to the Manager of Audit. Job duties include conducting program review audits, including assessments of program and contract estimates at complete (EACs), risk and opportunity management, revenue recognition practices, unbilled accounts receivable management and analysis, and general reviews of sound program management practices. Performs a variety of audits and related activities covering financial and operational systems and records, internal controls, policies and procedures, documents, costs and other related matters with consideration for both manual and automated processes. Candidate will interface, under supervision, with management on audit-related issues. Under limited supervision the candidate is accountable for developing and executing audit programs and establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with auditees and affected management.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • BS/BA with a minimum three years related experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both oral and written forms

Preferred Qualifications
  • Public accounting, private industry or internal audit experience desirable.
  • Functional experience with an understanding or programs and contracts.
