West Virginia University, Department of Medicine is seeking board certified/board eligible internists for full-time faculty positions.Qualified applicants must be board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine by June 30, 2015, and interested in providing outstanding clinical care. This position is primarily clinically based. Opportunities for teaching in a major academic medical center exist. Clinical service requires a minimum of 26 weeks coverage annually on our inpatient hospitalist service.

Teaching opportunities include small group instruction, teaching/facilitating individual medical student's clinical skills and the history and physical exam, as well as opportunities to give lectures to residents and colleagues in different contexts including didactic instruction and clinical conferences. Scholarly activity is highly encouraged and opportunities for research with clinical faculty also exist. U.S. News & World Report ranked West Virginia University Hospitals in Morgantown #1 in the state for the last two years, and Forbes recently ranked Morgantown as one of the Best Small Metros in America.
