Job Description

Job Summary:
Answers calls from financial advisors/general agents for life, annuity/and or disability insurance products. Researches and resolves customer requests and inquiries. Refers questions and inquiries to appropriate administrative areas for processing and resolution. Supports both internal and external sales force in day-to day sales activities.

Functional Responsibilities:
Associates will be expected to answer and document inbound calls and provide professional sales support in regards to our product provisions and positioning

Handles majority of inbound calls and directs to appropriate areas

Researches, resolves customer requests and discusses solutions

Stays informed of business trends in the industry, and be aware of the competitors in the marketplace

Participates in special projects

Performs other related duties as assigned or required

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

If successful at the ISA role, the position is designed to lead into the role of an Internal Wholesaler (IW). As an IW you will work closely with an External Wholesaler assigned to a region, and be expected to develop new business within the territory by proactively calling on Financial Advisors and providing sales solutions. Maintaining current client relationships through pertinent follow up, providing product updates, sales strategies, and materials that help lead to completing sales. In this position you will be expected to demonstrate territory management skills, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to organize and meet multiple priorities.

Job Requirements

Typical Experience:
College degree is preferred

If not licensed will be expected to obtain the FINRA Series 6, 63, and State Life and Health license within 3 months of finishing training class.

1-4 yrs sales experience preferred

Strong sales and customer relationship skills.

Excellent communication skills / interpersonal skills.

Ability to build and maintain business relationships.

Self-motivated and driven to reach sales goals in fast paced environment.

Works well in a team environment and also independently.

Strong organization skills and ability to multi task continuously.

Experience Required
One to Three Years
