PRIMARY FUNCTION

The IACS Senior Analyst will carry a reduced caseload and assist the manager in overseeing the daily activities of the IACS team to ensure accurate and timely processing of all assigned tasks. The Senior Analyst will assist in providing coaching, direction, and on-the-job training to the team. The Senior Analyst will also be the first point of escalation and problem resolution and will support necessary activities for new client implementations.

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The IACS Senior Analyst will carry a reduced caseload and assist the manager in overseeing the daily activities of the IACS team to ensure accurate and timely processing of all assigned tasks. The Senior Analyst will assist in providing coaching, direction, and on-the-job training to the team. The Senior Analyst will also be the first point of escalation and problem resolution and will support necessary activities for new client implementations.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare and review complex cost proje ctions and assignment letters
· Understand and explain basic tax queries on cost projections; know when to enlist the client's tax provider for guidance
· Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Word and Excel including V-lookups, pivot tables
· Interpret client policies
· Exhibit advanced knowledge of merge templates and report writing using HRToolbox and running Cognos reports
· Second level escalation of Payroll Instruction Form (PIF) issues
· Assist L&D in training International Assignment Consultants on IACS processes
· Understand the concepts of payroll processing including client specific payrolls, split payrolls, social taxes, hypo taxes, and gross up calculations
· Prepare and maintain the Compensation Accumulation Tool (CAT) and tracking tool.
· Train client on Cartus processes
· Manage workflow and communication among team members to ensure customer and client requirements are met
· Handle service delivery issues/service breaks and serve as first level escalation for team
· Identify and implement process and procedural improvements as approved by manager
· Manage day-to-day higher level tasks for team, including data audits, complex cost projections, payroll reconciliations, etc.
· Oversee/perform calculations for unusual or exception situations
· Interact with client and internal departments on technical issues as they arise; serve as a liaison with internal Cartus departments to ensure effective working relationships
· Identify and coordinate IACS training needs, including on-the-job technical training
· Manage external provider relationships to ensure accurate and effective services integration
· In conjunction with the Manager, direct and evaluate daily work performance of staff; make staffing level recommendations to Manager; co-manage daily performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members
· Participate in special projects and other duties as required
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
· 3-5 years of IACS experience and technical knowledge in international assignment program administration or other related work experience highly desired
· Above average knowledge and utlization of Excel
· Very strong detail orientation
· Demonstrated leadership skills
· Strong interpersonal, communication, and team building skills required
· Systems proficiency and demonstrated ability to learn new technical systems
· Strong planning and organizational skills, process management, internally motivated, and a self-starter
· Ability to multi-task under pressure in a deadline driven environment
