International Compliance Auditor:
Responsible for conducting financial, operational, and quality audits of subsidiaries in Brazil, Mexico, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, France, England, India, and China and at global distributors.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Integrate and implement American Orthodontics' financial, distribution, sales and marketing, supply chain, and other operational policies and processes with the goal of uniformity, efficiency and effectiveness across all major business areas.
Create audit procedures and tests to determine whether assets are adequately safeguarded or whether policies, plans, and procedures are in compliance.
Perform thorough studies of business process in areas under audit.
Audit and evaluate existing systems and practices at subsidiaries; develop and implement controls and corrective/improvement action plans to achieve uniformity and harmonization with parent company's standards.
Communicate effectively with General Managers, accountants, and other subsidiary personnel to ensure compliance with financial and operational standards, provide technical assistance as needed, and document results.
Identify training needs at subsidiaries and report to headquarters.
Ensure subsidiaries' compliance with international accounting policies and procedures. In conjunction with subsidiary audits, interpret operating results as they affect the financial aspects of American Orthodontics and make specific recommendations which will reduce costs and improve profits. Evaluate subsidiaries' business functional areas processes and recommend improvement action plans with the aim of enhancing the overall performance of the subsidiary.
International travel from 20% to 30% of total work time.
Location: American Orthodontics headquarters in Sheboygan, WI.
Requires master’s degree in finance or Operations/Supply Chain
At least 7 years of workexperience in financial, operational, and/or quality auditing positions.
At least 3 of 7 years must have been in a global manufacturing and distribution
environment and must have included project management experience involving the
implementation and evaluation of business policies and processes, such as
supply chain, sales & marketing, and/or quality.
