Summary of Position with General Responsibilities:
Provide optimal service to Bard International’s internal and external customers in order processing and other related customer service duties and responsibilities, as required, according to C.R. Bard policies and procedures, and department performance standards.

Summary of Position with General Responsibilities:

• Accurately processes all customer orders. Verifies product, pricing and regulatory information.
• Ability to read/speak Spanish and/or Portuguese a must.
• Proactively communicates with customer and Bard personnel regarding order status, product availability, product information, credit status, and regulatory issues.
• Coordinates activities with supply chain, credit, warehouses, traffic and other Bard departments and locations, as needed, to ensure timely shipments of orders.
• Accurately prepares all required shipping, export and banking documents.
• Processes instrument repair requests.
• Maintains complete, accurate and organized order, pricing and correspondence files.
• Researches and resolves customer problems.
• Generates and distributes order status reports to both internal and external customers.
• Maintains billing and shipping logs, and provide weekly/monthly reports of same.
• Regularly provides department manager with relevant information regarding activities, problems, issues related to CSR’s assigned accounts and tasks.
• Provides training to new Customer Service Representatives and Specialists.
• Acts as a resource to other department members regarding policies and procedures, and customer, product and regulatory information.
• Has been cross-trained on other accounts/territories to assist with workloads, and to provide coverage during vacations/absences.
• Assists with the maintenance of master pricing files.
• Is adaptable and available to accept new assignments, or assist in other areas or departments, as required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Adept at setting priorities, meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks. Proficiency in standard business computer applications.
• Bachelor’s degree or related customer service experience, preferably in international/export environment.
