The International Freight Operations Supervisor will lead the daily operations of the International Transportation group, including coordination of the import process, clearance, and delivery of global merchandise and raw materials. The Supervisor will work with the Director of Transportation and the Manager of International Trade Compliance to ensure all government, U.S. Customs, FDA and FTC laws and regulations are met.
Key responsibilities include:
Track and coordinate import shipments
Coordinate inland moves of global containers to point of destination
Accurate and timely ABI and ISF filings
Generate duty calculations and NDC summaries for each shipment
Track and report vendor shortages and overages
Maintain KPIs for international freight
Prepare freight claims for damaged products as needed
Effectively manage and provide leadership to direct reports and monitor performance
Maintain positive employee relations
The ideal candidate will have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience with international transportation operations, U.S. Customs, FDA and FTC laws/regulations. A demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required in addition to possessing excellent communication and organizational skills. Prior supervisory experience is also required.
