As a key part of the Marketing team, the International Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving our marketing efforts in Europe and Asia with the objective of growing brand awareness and new user acquisition for SurveyMonkey abroad. This will include coordinating day-to-day marketing activities to achieve quarterly goals and objectives. The qualified individual will have the proven ability to strategically identify and analyze key marketing opportunities and execute effectively in global markets.
Develop marketing strategy and customer acquisition campaigns for key focus countries. This will require building a solid understanding of the target markets in order to create effective media plans.
Manage various marketing campaigns including paid search, retargeting, display advertising, and social media. This may include managing agency partners and relationships to drive overall execution of coordinated marketing plans.
Define and set quarterly goals for each market
Help identify additional marketing opportunities for key focus markets.
Codify best practices and work to roll out across all relevant markets
Monitor and analyze marketing performance and provide regular reporting on conversion and campaign effectiveness. Partner with internal analytics resources to mine data for insights.
Coordinate with localization resources to develop relevant messaging and communications to customers based on knowledge of geographic and language preferences.
Coordinate development of A/B and multivariate testing of international site content and design with Product and Engineering teams to maximize traffic conversion.
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2-5 years experience in international marketing (MBA or other graduate degree a plus).
Previous experience and demonstrated success managing marketing campaigns in European or Asian countries.
Experience managing direct response customer acquisition marketing programs. In particular, experience with SEM, SEO, social media marketing, or display advertising highly preferred.
Ability to not only develop marketing strategy, but also to execute on specific marketing programs and tactics.
Strong analytical skills and experience managing a budget and driving campaigns to meet target goals.
Must thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment with tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
Experience in interpreting and utilizing market research and business analytics.
Excellent communication, written, and verbal skills with all levels and strong time management skills.
Ability to work independently within a rigorous deadline schedule

Nice to Have
Fluency in multiple languages a plus (i.e. German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, or Korean)
Familiarity with Marin bid management platform a plus.
