In this role, you'll leverage strategic decision making, professional network and deal execution capabilities to drive business growth internationally. You’ll work across broad cross functional teams to develop and execute market entry, activation and growth acceleration initiatives. You will partner with SurveyMonkey executives and the Board of Directors to evaluate, recommend and execute the company’s top strategic initiatives.
Develop independent market and competitive research to support strategic decisions
Identify and champion new business opportunities / corporate development initiatives
Create and set agenda for new business development projects and partnerships
Research international market performance and assess growth opportunities
Drive data analysis to support go to market decisions and customer acquisition efforts
Organize cross functional effort to localize in international markets
Manage key international partners and agencies
Determine key reporting needs for business development projects and partnerships
Develops new business operating models and investment cases that map to corporate budgeting process
Interact with management teams of partners and potential partners to enhance partner relationships
Determine revenue models for new business projects and partnerships
Negotiate and draft key contract terms in partner arrangements
Manage full M&A process from target selection through negotiation
Build financial models to support new investment and transaction opportunities
Coordinate M&A diligence processes and drive transaction modeling
The right candidate will be highly strategic, analytical, solutions-oriented, entrepreneurial and pragmatic. They must be comfortable interacting across all disciplines of the company, capable and credible at engaging internal and external executive management teams and Board of Directors, and effective at building out domestic and International business opportunities.
>8 years of experience in strategic or management consulting, corporate or business development, preferably focused on technology and with International experience
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably with a concentration in management, finance or accounting
Graduate degree recommended, but not required
Strong global network of professional and industry contacts
Outstanding research, quantitative and critical thinking abilities
Strong understanding of global economic markets and online consumer and business behaviors
Experience analyzing industry dynamics and fundamental drives of economic value for markets and participants
Proven track record of negotiating and implementing complex partnerships
Ability to build advanced financial models to support all types of investment decisions and M&A transactions
Highly proactive with exceptional team management, organization, planning, and execution capabilities
