DESCRIPTION & TASK
Coordinate the International Student admissions/advising process, in compliance with all federal regulations (SEVIS), in collaboration with the Registrar.
Establish relationships with Canadian high school representatives, as well as other service area K-12 schools, and complete regular visits to provide prospective students with SC4 information.
Responsible for the advising of all International Students. Also assist with advising of regular SC4 students during peak demand periods.
Cross-train in various SC4 offices, specifically within Student Services departments, in order to conduct a variety of outreach presentations that relate to the International student and general K-12 audience.
Conduct outreach activities via the web, social media, telemarketing, etc. as an integral part of International Student recruitment, admissions and enrollment process.
Collaborate with the Marketing department to develop/implement outreach strategies, including via the Web, targeted at the International Student and K-12 market.
Chair the Global Awareness Taskforce to coordinate campus international programming efforts.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Registrar.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES :
Develop, strengthen, and grow new relationships with the International and K-12 markets.
Increase International & K-12 market prospects and overall enrollment.
Provide advising to all International Students and assist with advising of general SC4 students.
Increase campus-wide (i.e. faculty, staff, alumni and students) participation with international programming and recruitment activities.
