Job Responsibilities: Provide export/import licensing services for support of international helicopter programs. This will include ensuring that all export/import licenses are drafted in accordance with U.S. Government regulations and company policy. Analyze, apply, and advise other functions and departments on export licensing laws and regulations. Support review of U.S. Customs and associated documentation for export of hardware and technical data. Work closely with internal customers and interface with other UTC business units, the UTC Washington, DC office, freight forwarders, suppliers, and various U.S. Government agencies on export/import licensing and compliance matters.
Education: Bachelors Degree required. Law degree desired but not required. Other advanced degrees are a plus.
Experience/Qualifications: Excellent analytical, communication (verbal and written), organizational, and teamwork skills required. A law background is helpful given the legal analysis and application of export laws and regulations requirements of the position. Experience in export licensing and compliance matters preferred.
Must be a US person.
Additional Comments: Candidate needs to be a self starter who is able to work independently and in a high pressure environment while handling multiple assignments simultaneously. High energy, positive attitude, and good interpersonal skills required.
