Beyondsoft’s is looking for a world-class engineer who will do design, development, testing and maintenance of Internationalization libraries and tools.
Our team consists of highly-skilled engineers who are passionate about building the internationalization infrastructure that enables our products to be used by millions of users worldwide.
To succeed in this position: you must enjoy solving tough technical problems; know what it takes to design and implement code that can easily be adapted to specific local languages and cultures; be able to design and develop high performance code.
You will work in a fast pace environment and will collaborate with teams distributed geographically, to gather requirements, conduct technical investigations, participate in architecture, and design reviews.
Job qualifications:
The candidate must have BS/MS in computer science (or equivalent);
A minimum of 4+ years related development experience.
Expertise in C/C++ and Java in UNIX development environment.
Strong skills in object-oriented design, programming
Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, performance optimization techniques;
Good knowledge of the Internet related technologies such as web services
Working knowledge of cultural differences in information processing;
Experience with data distribution methods and issues.
Desirable: PHP, JS, Oracle, MYSQL, Internationalization experience, working knowledge of Unicode, ICU experience, localization platforms or localization knowledge, YUI
