Job Description:
Instructors needed to teach Principles of Internet ( CMSY -129). This is an introductory, general education course which studies a variety of topics related to the Internet and the World Wide Web. Topics covered include: Information Security, E-commerce, HTML5, Digital Ethics, Intellectual Property Rights, Privacy, Effective search tools, evaluating websites, information literacy, using Web 2.0 tools, and creating a professional presence online. The ideal instructor will have a combination of technical, business, and real-life experience using a variety of Web and Internet applications and tools. Looking primarily for instructors for day sections; evening, online, hybrid, summer and winter sections are also sometimes available.

Compensation:
$1,950 per 3 credit course

Minimum Qualifications:
B.A. or B.S. degree and 5 years of computer experience, including experience and/or education relevant to teaching introductory web applications

OR B.A. or B.S. degree and one year of teaching in a post-secondary college or school.

Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree and two years of teaching in a community college. Previous experience teaching Internet or Web development application courses.
