STIM is looking for highly motivated individuals desiring training as neurodiagnostic technicians and already trained technicians to join our rapidly growing organization. We strive to provide the highest quality intraoperative neuromonitoring in the southeast region, with a focus on exceptional patient care and customer service for each hospital and surgeon we work with.
Under supervision of the manager/director, candidate performs preoperative assessment of patient, conducts preoperative diagnostic testing, conducts intraoperative sensory and motor tests using currently accepted electrophysiological techniques. Compiles real-time collection and interpretation of data with assistance from a neurologist and completes post-operative reports and billing forms. Candidate must be able to take weekend/holiday call as part of a set rotation with other technicians in their region. Effective communication with the surgeon, anesthesia team, other members of the OR team, patients and hospital staff is an essential part of the job and therefore, excellent communication skills are a must.
Minimum of Bachelor of Science degree, Graduate degree in sciences preferred
Preferred Certification by ABRET i.e. CNIM, REEGT or REPT or will train to become board eligible.
