We provide all the necessary resources and excellent compensation package to achieve this.SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIESThe Inventory Control Coordinator overseas activities to monitor and maintain inventory control of components or materials for warehouse and delivery operations; evaluates inventory levels and notifies the Materials Manager when reorders are necessary; performs receiving, stocking, distributing, and packing in addition to inventory control; and maintains inventory records and prepares reports.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESManage, maintain and develop procedural and internal control documentation for inventory reporting and physical product flow.Develop and maintain necessary procedures, controls and records to insure effective inventory control through company MRP/ERP system.Oversee and facilitate daily cycle counting and bi-annual/quarterly physical inventory audits.Determine product placement for efficient operations.Document inventory handling and transaction processes; manage stock rotation on a FIFO basis.Monitor and report supply/demand variances as well as shrinkage.Determine inventory variance root cause and discuss with the warehouse team to establish containment and preventative actions.Maintain inventory integrity to achieve 100 percent order accuracy and fulfillment.Ensure quality control in accordance with the company ISO-9001:2008 Quality Assurance System (QAS).Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with company HSE standards and procedures.Interact and support a broad spectrum of personnel internal and external to the company. Work effectively and efficiently in both team-based and independent working environments to reduce costs and add value to the organization.Provide effective management of subordinates to achieve desired results. Attributes necessary to meet this need may include communications, motivation, team building, employee involvement, diplomacy, delegating, etc. skills as well as confidence and enthusiasm.Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Materials Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSFive (5) years experience as an inventory control coordinator in the aerospace, commercial marine, or heavy automotive industries;General experience with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP II) software such as Syteline® or MAPICS; andProficiency with Microsoft Office applications software to include Word and Excel.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSSeven (7) years experience as an Iinventory control coordinator in the aerospace, commercial marine, or heavy automotive industries;Extensive experience with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP II) software such as Syteline® or MAPICS; andAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications software to include Word and Excel.Thrustmaster of Texas is an equal opportunity employer.
