The Inventory Control Manager will report to the Director of Purchasing. This person will be responsible for maintaining system accuracy of raw material inventory.
Training of all inventory users to ensure accurate and timely transactions are consistently applied.
Responsible to interact with other departments to resolve problems and improve process flow.
Responsible for warehouse and hub operations with regards to proper handling, labeling and documented procedures.
Responsible to track and monitor key performance indicators for the warehouse operation and to take corrective action when necessary.
Communication of information to warehouse personnel and communication of issues to management.
Perform detailed process flow analysis and to implement recommendations to improve department operations through waste elimination and streamlined operations.
Establish, monitor and report key measurements to improve inventory integrity.
Apply statistical analysis to solve problems and improve processes.
Create reports to routinely measure performance and identify potential problems.
Responsible to oversee cycle count program throughout operations and to coordinate and conduct yearly physical inventory.
Promote a team based and positive working environment.
Analyze cost variances and initiate corrective action as needed.
Perform other tasks, duties as requested and/or required
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelors Degree from 4 year college/university preferred
3+ years related inventory control experience
Previous experience with managing inventory, cycle counting and executing work orders.
Strong eclipse software experience preferred
Equivalent education or experience may be substituted for any of the above.
