Sodexo is seeking a motivated, energetic Inventory Control Manager with exceptional oral/written communication skills for a linen distribution operation at Bellevue Hospital in the NYC. The successful candidate will have proven experience with client customer service, training and supervising, team building, inventory control and strong computer skills (data entry, email, word and excel).
This is an 800 bed acute care facility with busy clinics and emergency department. The Inventory Control Manager will oversee all aspects of linen management.
There is a high level of client interaction; the ability to work independently and as part of a team is paramount.
The ideal candidate will have previous union experience and strong management skills.
Healthcare experience strongly desired, familiarity with linen management and regulatory agency compliance a plus.
First line supervisory position with responsibilities for inventory personnel who compile records of amount, kind, and value of merchandise, material, or stock on hand. Supervises the distribution and network of inventory to maximize efficiencies. Analyzes distribution and storage of goods to minimize costs and maximize profitability. Forecasts inventory levels, equipment and manpower requirements in order to achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
