Equus is currently seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at our location in Roselle, IL. The Specialist will be responsible for executing inventory control measures to ensure company minimizes stock holding and maximizes inventory system, and ensures overall accuracy of inventory related data, which includes performing audits, and cycle counts. The Inventory Control Specialist will examine and investigate misidentified or out of balance items. Identify problematic inventory records, and with permission from management make appropriate adjustments.

DUTIES

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain the company's material and stocked product inventory.
  • Assists in the development of the company's inventory levels and policies
  • Maintains inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs
  • Counts and reconciles randomly chosen part numbers and/or locations
  • Stocking, organizing and maintaining the inventory throughout the warehouse.
  • Assists in developing solutions to specific problem areas
  • Compiles, verifies and reports periodic statistical information to management regarding trends in customer escalations
  • Keeps an account of all in-house faulty parts, plus those coming out of production.
  • Ensures compliance to inventory processes and procedures as well as compliance to contractual obligations
  • Restock inventory submitted by the RMA department.
  • Investigate and correct all discrepancies between physical and system inventory counts.
QUALIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate's Degree or combination of course work with relevant professional experience.
  • Requires a detailed understanding of inventory control/management systems.
  • Must have experience in maintaining inventory, establishing reorder points, pricing, cycle counts, and knowledge of materials management best practices.
