Collaborate with APS, inventory, transportation, warehouse 3PL, customer service, supply chain planning and marketing to ensure timely inventory positioning with the objective of maximizing customer satisfaction in the areas of fill rate, efficiency and quality assurance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Strategically Coordinate Regional deployments for seasonal pre-build pie inventory by developing and executing a stocking strategy that efficiently meets the needs Intra-Regionally
Manage inventory within the Mixing Center and outside Pie Buffer facilities including, but not limited to, deep chill, blast, Store Brands, donations, Un-Allocatable and all QA related product. Monitor inventory levels within the four walls of the Mixing Center, including fresh and frozen categories as well as pallet height mix throughout the year to minimize capacity restraints
Monitor pie volume in Mixing Centers and Buffer facilities and strategically look for ways to improve the process as well as cut down on the number of touches in efforts to minimize cost Work with CSAM's and transportation during pie season on possibilities of direct to customer shipments from Buffer warehouses and simplify the process
Build deployment loads within the network based on APS recommended shipments, ensuring no mixed environment orders while collaborating with the transportation team to ensure maximum truck weight and cube
Identify shortages on deployments, or caused by deployments, and work with APS to minimize
Serve as point of contact for R&D and 3PL in the management of test pallets through the Mixing Center
Responsible for initiating the RFSA process for personnel within the Mixing Center
Collaborate with other Regional Deployment Analyst to ensure adequate coverage during expected absences
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent from four-year college or technical school
3-4 years related experience in related field and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Extensive knowledge of supply chain practices including inventory planning, scheduling, data accuracy, distribution replenishment and marketing strategies
Sales or Marketing experience a plus
Must have analytical skills and organization skills
Must have ability to make decisions considering many variables concurrently
