Saratoga Eagle Sales & Service; Immediate opportunity for an experienced Inventory Manager. The Inventory Manager will coordinate and direct inventory and procurement activities for its warehouse in Saratoga Springs, NY and for its parent company, Try-It Distributing Co., Inc., in Lancaster, NY.
Saratoga Eagle and Try It Distributing represent several national beverages including: Anheuser Busch / North American Breweries / Monster / Red Bull / Heineken / Nestle.
The Inventory Manager candidate requires significant experience in product procurement / inventory / processing procedures. Candidate must be an organized, communicative, and energetic willing to participate in leading the efforts to meet the objectives of sales and operations by minimizing product waste, increasing inventory turns, and reducing the number of days-on-hand. Primary Responsibilities include: developing and implementing SOPs to maintain and ensure inventory levels appropriate for meeting our business plan; build strong internal, cross functional communication network for effective collaboration and knowledge transfer; coordinates inventory levels to be in alignment with forecasts; maintain physical inventory; and procurement of product and communications with suppliers.
Qualified individuals will have: a four-year degree in a business operations field; or 5 or more year’s related experience in warehousing or inventory supervision and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with multi-warehouse systems and WMS systems is preferred but not required. Must understand the process of distribution and have knowledge of the basic principles of inventory management and supply chain strategies.
This position is full-time with a competitive compensation and benefits package and will be based out of our Saratoga Springs, NY location. Travel will be required to all locations as needed.
