Assists the Purchasing Manager in special projects and performs duties listed below.

Responsibilities:
Processes requisitions and updates Purchasing/Inventory system.
Performs spot checks on inventory to determine if it agrees with Purchasing/Inventory System.
Maintains open purchase orders and confers with the purchasing manager concerning late deliveries.
Performs shipping and receiving duties; maintains inventory of materials and supplies.
Receives and logs all outside courier activity (i.e. Fedex, UPS, etc.)
Orders repetitive items (i.e. business cards, etc.)
Purchases supplies from various local stores (i.e. BJ’s, Staples, etc.)
Monitors and/or ensures compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations; including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering, in addition to, Bank operation policies and procedures.
Performs additional duties as requested.

Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will have excellent PC skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. In addition, analytical skills, a high school diploma, the ability to follow directions and a valid U.S. Driver's License with a good driving record are required. This position requires lifting of up to 50 lbs. Century Bank is an equal opportunity employer.
