The Service & Support organization is currently seeking a Team Leader to manage our global field inventory. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining field inventory requirements and managing global supply of spare parts for our customer service business.

Responsibilities: Responsible for general management of global spare parts inventory including but not limited to the following: coordinating shipment of spares or components to customer sites, ensuring proper management of RMA’s and depot repair, defining and implementing a strategy to sell spare parts, managing spares part list and pricing strategy, creating spares kits, defining min/max levels, developing and documenting best practices to improve inventory management and reduce shipping cost, working closely with Purchasing, Tech Support, Field Service, Engineering and customers to achieve company goals, other tasks as defined by management.

Required/Desired Skills: BS in Logistics Management or similar discipline. 5+ years in managing a logistics group. Technical background/experience with the ability to interpret drawings, and other specifications. Experienced in developing and documenting inventory management best practices and procedures. Familiar with Microsoft Office and Oracle software. A team player with the ability to lead and manage team members and influence others outside of direct control. Proven organizational skills and ability to complete tasks on time and within budget. Ability to multi task and work well under pressure. Motivated and data driven with the ability to achieve results with minimal management. High level of commitment and initiative. Professional phone etiquette and experience working directly with customers. Ability to manage time effectively. Excellent written and oral communication skills. A desire to make positive contributions to the company.
