In search of an individual with a broad scientific background, who will thrive in a collaborative and multifunctional environment. The primary responsibility will be to conduct scientific experiments to support drug candidate nomination and to address specific safety issues. Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following: tissue gene expression analysis from in vivo studies, in vitro assay development to address mechanisms of toxicity, routine cell culture and evaluation of primary or novel culture systems, and biomarker development using immune-based methods (ELISAs, Westerns ) and platforms (MSD, Luminex). The candidate should require minimal supervision and be able to work effectively in a team setting. He/she must be computer literate in Microsoft Windows-based applications and have excellent communication skills. Experience with conduct of in vivo studies and an understanding of the drug discovery/development process is a plus. Qualifications: BS or MS in life sciences or toxicology with 2 to 4 years of laboratory experience.
