The Office of Discrimination and Harassment ( ODH ) is committed to preventing and eliminating sexual harassment and discrimination and harassment based on race, color, national origin, pregnancy, sex, age, disability, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression or veteran status at the University of Colorado Boulder. Additionally the ODH strives to prevent and eliminate retaliation and false allegations of discrimination and harassment. To achieve these goals, the ODH conducts fair and unbiased investigations and provides equitable resolutions of allegations of discrimination and harassment. The ODH also provides on-site and online educational workshops for all employees of the University community, including faculty, staff, and student employees.

Posting Description
The primary responsibilities of this position are:
• To educate the University of Colorado Boulder (CU-Boulder) community, including faculty, staff, and students, about the University policies on protected class harassment and discrimination and amorous relationships and inform these constituents about the complaint procedure and investigative process.
• To provide protected class harassment and discrimination training to the CU-Boulder community.
• To prevent and eliminate false allegations of discrimination and harassment.
• To prevent and eliminate incidents of protected class harassment, discrimination, and related retaliation at CU-Boulder.
• To conduct investigations into allegations of protected class harassment, discrimination, and related retaliation at CU-Boulder.
• To provide training to all faculty members, classified and exempt staff, and student employees regarding the University Policy on Sexual Harassment, the University Policy on Conflict of Interest in Cases of Amorous Relationships and the Boulder Campus policy on Discrimination and Harassment. To provide training to UCB employees and departments on an as-needed basis.
• To interact with numerous on and off campus resources, such as the Office of University Counsel, the Women’s Resource Center, The Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Resource Center, Counseling and Psychological Services: A Multicultural Center, The Office of the ADA Coordinator, The University of Colorado Police Department, The Office of Student Conduct, Human Resources, Organizational and Employee Development, The Ombuds Office, The Office of Victim Assistance, Wardenburg Psychological Health and Psychiatry, the Center for Multicultural Affairs, Boulder Police Department and Moving to End Sexual Assault ( MESA ) etc.

Salary and Benefits: Salary range is $45,000 to $47,000. Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor of Arts or Sciences degree in a relevant field
• At least one year of experience conducting internal investigations of sexual harassment and protected class discrimination and harassment
Substitution: J.D. with coursework in employment or civil right law; or advanced degree in a relevant field plus general investigative experience may substitute for the sexual harassment and protected class discrimination and harassment investigative experience.
